About the Summit:
This May, the Radiological Threat Awareness Coalition will be holding its
Homeland Security Policy Summit, the second in a series of forums on
radiological security and national preparedness.
The event will be focused on current trends in federal homeland security
spending as it relates to radiological threats and what adjustments to the
spending structure need to be made in order to ensure better preparedness
for communities and first responders. The Summit will feature a keynote
address by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, a panelist discussion with
radiological security industry experts, and a policy debate featuring
policymakers and thought leaders. Attendees will come from a wide range of
backgrounds and include regulators, first responders, policymakers, and
other key stakeholders.
